Ouinex secures $9 million from community traders and unveils token launch platform
Crypto trading platform Ouinex has raised a total of $9 million entirely from its user community and launched Ouinex Launchpad, a token sale platform that rewards active traders with access to early-stage token offerings.
Crypto trading platform Ouinex has completed a new funding round backed entirely by its own users, while simultaneously rolling out a launchpad for early-stage token sales. The company continues to pursue a community-owned model that blends digital assets with traditional markets in a single trading environment.
With its latest raise and product launch, Ouinex is positioning itself as both an exchange and an access point to new token offerings, targeting active traders who want a stake in the platform itself.
Funding reaches $9 million with no venture capital
Ouinex has raised $3.5 million in fresh equity financing, lifting its total funding to $9 million. All capital to date has come from retail and professional traders using the platform, with no venture capital investors involved.
According to the company, more than 10,000 traders have taken part in its funding rounds since launch, effectively turning users into shareholders. This community-backed structure is central to Ouinex’s strategy and ownership model.
Launch of Ouinex Launchpad for early token sales
Alongside the new funding, the company has introduced Ouinex Launchpad, a dedicated platform for token sales. The launchpad is designed to provide users with access to early-stage token launches, with participation conditions linked to engagement and loyalty on the trading platform.
The goal is to reward active users with preferential access to new projects, while creating an integrated route from trading existing assets to backing new tokens.
Single account for crypto and traditional market derivatives
Ouinex positions itself as a multi-asset trading venue that brings together crypto and traditional financial markets. Through one account, users can gain exposure to:
- Spot cryptocurrency trading
- Crypto perpetual futures
- Forex markets
- Indices
- Stocks
- Commodities derivatives
Crypto assets are used as collateral across these products, enabling traders to move capital efficiently between different asset classes within the same platform.
No-CLOB model aimed at reducing conflicts of interest
Ouinex operates on a proprietary execution model it calls No-CLOB, referring to the absence of a traditional central limit order book managed by the exchange. This structure is intended to prevent the platform from taking the opposite side of its users’ trades.
By limiting the visibility that market makers have into retail order flows, Ouinex aims to curb practices such as aggressive stop-loss hunting and front-running. The company presents this model as a way to align the platform’s interests more closely with those of its traders.
Regulation treated as part of the product
Ouinex’s leadership presents the community-funded ownership model as a reason to treat regulation as a core product feature rather than just a compliance obligation. With users also acting as shareholders, the company emphasizes long-term regulatory foundations over short-term investor demands.
The firm reports that it is investing heavily in legal and regulatory frameworks across five continents in order to operate as a safe, sustainable and fully licensed platform over the long term.
Use of proceeds: licensing, product and risk tools
The newly raised funds are earmarked for expanding regulatory coverage, enhancing the trading platform and introducing additional tools for trading and risk management.
By combining global licensing efforts with a broader product set and a token launchpad, Ouinex is seeking to deepen its relationship with the same community of traders that has financed its growth so far.
